I started visiting this forum a few weeks ago and seen they have a continues skill week. It's a very popular thing they do within their runescape section.
Each week there is a random skill week, where people post if they want to participate in it, then when each week begings, on the monday, a skill is announced where users will compete into winning that weeks comp. Each week is a different skill, these skills are not just only non-combat skills but combat ones too.
Each winner of that week will win some sort of presant. On their forum they award you with Forum Gold but as we don't have that something else will need to be though of, such as Habbox Forum VIP.
Before I start doing this, I just wanted to see if many people would join in, if not it would be a complete waste of time.
Please either vote 'Yes' or 'No' in the poll.
Thanks,
LoveHateHero.

We tried it a couple of times and people quit halfway through the week, so it didn't really work that well.

As that was a one week thing, this one keeps going every week with a different skill each week.

No. We did a Fishing Week and the person that organized it gave up before the week even finished.
It's very time consuming and most people get tired of it.

Not everyone has to do it though. If they like the skill and want to train it they can join in, or if they want Habbox VIP for free, they could join in. If they don't want to, they can always wait until there's a skill that they would like to train.

That's exactly what it was last time, but some people thought a week was too long and boring...

It can always be shortened, although the prize will need to be altered as £3.00 credit a week on VIP is a little too hard for me to cash out.

Good luck if it works then...

Correct but this forum was one of the most popular forums on Habbox. A close community with many of events going on. Unlike now.

Probably not, runescape isn't really interesting for me anymore.
However I may take part in 1-3 day one depending on the skill.

This will only cost you a lot of money because only about 3 people will actually compete, the other people will either drop out or they don't enough time to compete properly. I'd join some weeks but I'd advise you to join a skill clan if you like these things, most skill clans have these weeks (which is probably where you got it from).

There are too many immature people here so it's impossible to bring it back to how it was in '05.

yeah but i'm never good with clans, i always get booted ;[
yeah and i agree with you about the immature people but many of them have gone now and it's a chance to rebuild what this place was like without the rs section legends.

This section is practically dead, That much so that I've not had an infraction since July last year.. lol
It's a good idea but they never work on this forum. I'd take part though if it was an OK skill.

That can be aranged ;)
And i'm not sure this would benefit anyone really, If you have people voting on the skill, not everyone wants to do it, so half of them drop out from that.
If you don't have people voting on the skill, then more people won't like it because they will find it boring e.g Mining.
Most people would also find the cash-training skills hard to train e.g Summoning/Herblore So you would lose more there.
Some users are F2p so this would mean alot of the people that want to take part in f2p won't have the chance in most of the weeks.

You always add the humor bob =]
Anyway, People always train skills at some point, for example getting them all to a certain level e.g. 50+, like at the moment im trying to raise all of mine too 60+, so you MAY have a competition.
