I though BB Guns were cool when I was about 6.

I think it's stupid for teenagers to be interested in them.

Whatever floats your boat though.

I find it hilarious that it's not against the law to sell BB Guns, however it's against the law to buy BB Guns? You could blatantly have Police ready to pounce outside a BB Gun shop :P

Didn't know the rule about clear one's though, I've always wanted one but never got one :P

You're only allowed clear ones because normal ones can be mistaken for real guns. Normal ones are still for sell, because if you are a member of an re-enactment club or anything like that you are allowed to buy them. This is under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 :]

Mr.Sam

by the way it's illegal to have a bb gun in your possession if you are under 16 even though most bb guns are banned.

also As of 1st October 2007, a new law is in effect in the UK banning, among other things, the online or mail order sales of air guns. Sales must be made face-to-face, although it is likely that unofficial sales of air guns will continue to take place over the internet.

The legal definition of an air gun differs from country to country; in the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom), for example, air pistols generating more than 6 ft·lbf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foot_pounds) (8.1 J (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joule)) or air rifles generating more than 12 ft·lbf (16.2 J) of energy are considered firearms (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearm)

Its just the typical British hypocracy that black ones can't be sold but white ones can. Surprised theres been no racism out-roar.

Get a clear one, and paint it black.

if it was black plastic which was clear it would be fine... it just happens the one he is looking at is white...

No, your not allowed any airsoft gun unless its a 'Two Tone' This means that if most of it is Bright blue, Bright green bright red or yellow. then your allowed it if you are over 18 but not a member of UKARA. to become a member of UKARA you need to be a Airsoft club member.
Btw thats illegal what you said at the end.
