I don't think about it, I'm here and that's that. :)
This is my personal theory. You may find this offencive, so read at own will.
Mary was a prostitute, or was having an affair with some one else, but when she became pregnant, she used the excuse of an angel etc..
Jesus was a real person, but he was on drugs at the time, and also an alcoholic (Hints he could turn water into wine).
I shall keep believing that until some one proves it wrong :)

I've been atheist all my life, but I've recently changed to an agnostic like a lot of people.
Atheist's do not believe in god or religion. Agnostic's will believe in religions or gods though if there is proof, of which agnostic's are still waiting for, therefore they're 'Open minded' and waiting. Not to much difference though and I'm sure if there was any 'real' proof atheist's would become agnostic's too.

I Don't really have any, I don't pin myself down to any religion but I hope to be reincarnated as an animal or go to a heaven, which might just put a little bit of point in my life.

There may not be proof that God exists, but there isn't proof God doesn't exist either, until then, I'll remain open-minded :)

But wouldn't common sense also tell you it's impossible for a bang to randomly happen in nowhere, culminating in the formation of the universe and all space/time order, then rocks turn into organisms and organisms turn into fish and fish turn into ******s?

I don't believe in any sort of religion, there is no deity. Humans came around by evolution and the universe/world was created via the big bang :)

The big bangs more realistic. At least there more proof of that.
How ever it happened, life it self is amazing.

We know the boundries of reality; religion and all the junk that comes with it is rediculously far fetched. I am an atheist through and through... but according to next year's census, I'm a Jedi Knight. ;)

Lol at Jacks first opinion.
I personally don't think there are gods. I do belive in Jeses though.
I feel he was a real person but didn't do the things he was said to do. He may of been some sort of old doctor or whatever but thats just me.
There is certainly more evidence of evolution.
I liek the idea of buddhism but that isn't actually a religion liek others think.

Well Christianity doesn't go against the big bang or evolution.

Well Christianity doesn't go against the big bang or evolution.
Christianity says that God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th. From what I've seen, they get riotous when scientists' views on the explosion arise.

The whole concept of a 7 day week with the final day off is just a good excuse someone made up to get that day off work

I like the moral standards and rules that Christianity 'created,' but other than that I'm open-minded about it. I work in a church and find it interesting, but I wouldn't go to the extreme to say it's what happened etc.

I don't want to make a big thing out of this and i know you did warn people before reading it but I actually was extreamly offended by that comment but if that's your true opinion i respect that.
I'm a christian and beleive there is a God I'm not one of these 'hard core' religious types who go to church every week as I think you can create a bond with God with or without going to church and yes I believe Jesus was Gods one and only son who came to save human kind from our sins. I'm not one of these people who force my religion an other people and generally keep it private. I also respect religions my friends practice such as islam even though I don't agree with it.

I don't take the Bible as literal thing it was written hundreds of years ago before they discovered alot of things I think God was the cause of the big bang :)

My thoughts exactly.
There's no imperical evidence of a deity, there's no way we can prove the revelation of god either because testimony of others is untrustworthy.
There's no logical reasoning for God, as logic can only work with physical evidence backing it.
So I believe anyway.

I don't follow any 'religon', why choose one when I can have my individual beliefs. I believe there is a God though, regardless if he exists or not but it gives you the hope.

God isn't human so wouldn't have any human features most of us refer to God as a 'him' but I don't think God is either male or female , hmmm I don't think any one would know what God looks like until our time has come to meet 'him' in heaven

The philosopher David Hume had a criticism about God:
'Why do we imagine God as a human, when a human is so imperfect? A human body is far too weak and fragile to house the powers that the one we call God possesses.'
God is perceived as a human a little bit too much really. A holy light is more appropriate. But that's just my thinking :P

maybe we are that imperfect that we see humans as the highest form. therefor god would have to be human..
im christian. i hope that there is life after death. only because i think it would b weird just to not exist.

I think it''s because we see a creator as human to relate to it. Feelings, actions and thoughts are like human and described as human. Does the bible suggest God is human in any way or does it just make him seem human by the things he does?

God has three forms
God the Father The form that we the children can learn from and pray to
God the Son God came to Earth in the form of Jesus this was the one and only period of time God could experience human feelings many people confuse Jesus as being the literal son of God
God the Holy Spirit The form that leads Christians to have faith in Jesus, it is inside every christians body (the body being it's temple)
