my dad

Well I really love my dad and he's constantly cleaning the dishes, washing clothes, hoovering up etc. I try to help but he won't let me, I
want to show I appreciate him and love him,
but he wont let me help with any chores.
What can I do?
Bare in mind im only 13.

he just likes keeping the house clean
he goes out on saturdays with his mates to the pub
and sometimes on weekdays for a couple of hours
but he doesnt really seem happy to me..
well sometimes he's like really happy and smiling
but sometimes he looks, well i don't know how to describe it..
not upset but just like bleh:rolleyes:

and yeah he's really kind.
i offer to make him coffee and toast all the time
but he always refuses.
so i don't know

He sounds like a really nice guy and I'm sure when you think he's not happy there's nothing wrong.

Everyone's like that, sometimes we're happy and show it constantly and other times we don't really have a mood and just get on with things.

and even though i know nothing is wrong deep down
it makes me feel all wierd that he looks down

i live with my mum but im at my dads most of the time, i go there every day after school.

i sleepover wednesday thursday friday saturday. (and when im ill, off school)

hmm something else
its usually when he has
nothing to do he's down.
when he's out watching the horse racing
(which i must say he wins alot on,
won £8000 about halfway through february)
he's happy as larry.
its when he's doing nothing he seems down
and i feel like im taking him for granted,
even though he's my dad i think
i need to do something to make him happy
like helping out around the house
but he just won't let me.
