The roof looks too steep and the colours are a little harsh, you look like you have the skill to make it better though keep going :)

The roof is too red, making it a little more brown will be a lot better. :)

The second one is much better but make the grass come up around the house and path, it look like they are floating in mid air :P

Looking good, i don't think theres any need for the fence on the right though becuase theres a wall there. i like the idea with the sun flowers well done :)

he probably uses paint.. most pixel artists do, i do.

Calling it a joke is hardly constructive? you can easily give critism without insulting someone.

As i said before i think it would look better if the roof wasn't so steep. Also the repetition is a bit too much mainly in the road. Im not sure what it is but the house looks bare and lacks detail perhaps try and look at a few pictures of houses and add as many features as possible to make your house more realistic.

Many people make good alts with paint. You probably think illegally downloading photoshop and not knowing how to use 9/10 of the controls is the elite thing to do.
