Forum biting more than it can chew?

Every now and then new forums are added and the larger threads are moved about the place. Well now it seems like there are so many other forums that less people post in other threads. Some forums could be added as sub forums into others. e.g Technical problems could be made a sub forum in Technology discussion. At the moment it's really becoming noticeable that there are too many forums for the amount of members online and that members are posting more in those spam threads that have nothing but numbers in.

I think something should be done about this. A change would certainly be for the better.

I agree that there are absolutely loads of forums on here, but it doesn't really bother me as I only really use 'new posts'. :)

it's pointless, the project is clearly a fail and it's already 5 months behind schedule? supoosed to open in november, it's now march.
and the fact that it isn't even open is one hell of a good reason as to why the section shouldn't exist.

I think forums with less than 1000 posts in a year should be removed unless they're active a lot. Like world of warcraft. No point in that one, should be a sub or not there at all.

Why should we when the catagory IS useless? May aswell remove it, which would benefit more people. It would be better off as a forum/sub-forum.

When did I say you disagreed :S I was merely quoting you saying that why should people minimize it when there is clearly little to no interest in ClubTropica and then threw in the suggestion that a sub-forum is a better idea, then you say you didn't disagree when you didn't even state it to begin with :S

Okay, anyway until managment decide if it stays as it is I would suggest minimizing it :)

Therefore it can no longer be seen.

I also agree with making it a subforum as clearly to many people it is irrelevant and unpopular.

I agree, some of the forums could just be merged with another forum cause they are basically the same, or just made a sub-forum cause they are related in some way. What someone said about if the forum has under 1k posts after a set amount of time it should be removed is a good idea.

I think when they are adding new forums/sub forums they need to consider how many people on the forum are actually going to use it and whether it's worth it or not because it could just be a waste of time.
