Jonny Wilkinson has been dropped from the England team to face Ireland on Saturday and replaced at fly-half by rising star Danny Cipriani.

It is the only change made by coach Brian Ashton to the team which started the 15-9 defeat by Scotland.
Wilkinson has only previously been dropped by England for the 1999 World Cup quarter-final loss to South Africa. He is demoted to the bench, Charlie Hodgson dropping out of the 22, while James Haskell returns as a replacement.

I am a England fan, but the best performing teams has to be Wales and France.

Im glad. Get some new blood running through the team. Sure Wilkinson builds morale but his performances have been on and off. Hopefully Cipriani won't make a fool of himself like last week, where he went out drinking and got himself banned from the game.

Good, Jonnie's in-game kicking is shocking, good decision.
