Well I've got to go to the dentist tomorrow for 2 teeth to be removed, what can I expect to happen? Does it hurt a lot and how long does it take?
There in perfect condition, and its one on the top left and top right at the back on each side. Im only getting them out to make room for a brace..
Cheers guys

doesn't hurt. once you can use your tounge again you'll be like feeling the gaps with it all the time until the gum hardens :)! You should get the next day off school with any luck.

ah i forgot to mention that. you get like four injections with a huge needle and that's pretty painful.

argh that stuff better be good enough, i've had it before a few times for fillings, but would it be enough for a double teeth extraction, think i might ask her for a double dose
I had four out in one go, it's nothing ;)

you get injected then they send you back to the waiting room. then they bring you back in after about 15 minutes, takes about 10 minutes to get them both out, send you back to the waiting room to let you "recover" and then they give you a form with safety tips on before sending you home (they always recommend you take a day off school/college/work).

My dentist is squeezing me in, argh they better send me out for 15 mins to let the injection have an effect.
I had one tooth out ages ago it was displaced (About 1 inch out of place on the roof of my mouth) that hurt as it was fused to a bone what wasnt numbed i screamed so loud his parter knocked the pc monitor off :P

You get 'numbed'
They let you wait for about 20 minutes.
You go back in, they get a pair of plyers and pull your teeth out.
You bleed alot.
Nothing major unless you get infected like the second time I had mine out - That hurts.
I thought the injection hurt the most :( aha.

It will be fine if it's a small tooth, but i had a massive one with long roots and it took about 30 mins to get out. I had 8 injections in the same place and it still hurt afterwards. But that was because it was a ****** to remove.

Got in the room at 10:50 and out at 11:20.
It was horrible. She put the injections in on either side, but one side didnt feel as the other so she topped it up. Anyway, she began yanking away and for a few seconds it did really hurt, then all of a sudden I felt really faint and sick so she quicky led me down and took my blazer of etc, after a few mins she started again. The tooth on the right took longer, and again I got all hot and nearly passed out again.
Just so glad its over really, and I lost a lot of blood, on the way home we had to keep pulling over because it was literally a pool of blood I was spitting out because it was to much to swallow. And the tooth was massive. I've put a pic in the spolier :D
Cheers for asking Stephen

Lol there is always a lot of blood isn't there. I was pale and dribbling blood everywhere when I had mine taken out, I must of looked like a zombie! It didn't hurt me though so I guess I'm lucky! At least your through it now though :).
