COD4?

I am having a problem with cod4, I press Xbox Live and start a party and it says 'You must have an active network connection to join Xbox Live games' yet I am connected to live fine.

Anyone else got this?

you might be disconneted from messenger
connect to messenger if you aren't and keep trying to find a game
if that don't work,
turn your xbox off for a good half an hour then on again
if doesn't help, then sorry idk

What the hell does Messenger have to do with it?
Its about the game freezing, its happened to me before.
