A SENIOR policeman has died after falling from a cross-Channel ferry – the third top cop feared to have committed suicide this week.
Inspector Neil Munro, 43, a married dad of one, is believed to have dived into the sea at Poole in Dorset late on Wednesday.
He was on the 11.45pm Brittany Ferries crossing to Cherbourg. His body was found yesterday under a jetty on the millionaires’ peninsula of Sandbanks near Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp’s home. A ferry ticket was in his pocket.
Dorset Chief Constable Martin Baker said: “The whole force has been deeply shocked by this.” Sources fear it was suicide.
It follows Monday’s death of royal bodyguard Sergeant Richard Fuller, 55, who shot himself at Calne, Wilts, and the suicide of Chief Constable Michael Todd in Snowdonia.
Coincidence that three cops commit suicide in three days?! I would also like to point out that Michael Todd headed the investigation into American 'Rendition' Flights ;). I am not a big believer of conspiracy theories, but it's weird for sure.
