Banned for no reason and a past date

I just tried to sign in on Habbo, and it said I had been banned for intending to scam - paint furni scam.

I have never tried to scam so I thought what the hell is going on.
I used the Habbo Help Tool to see what was going on and this is what it said.

Your Habbo has been banned, so you cannot check in. See below for the reason for your ban and how long it lasts for.

Ban reason: Banned 2 hours for harrassing other habbos
Ban lasts until: Jun 5, 2005 9:09:11 PM

Do you want to appeal against this ban? Please note that we will only remove bans in exceptional circumstance and you will need to provide proof of innocence.

Habbo Has banned your PC not your habbo - has somebody been on habbo and scammed somebody? Try logging on on a different PC and different MAYBE that will work. My brother scammed loads of ppl and then OUR PC got a ban file on it - I had to reformat the hd!

Just uninstall shockwave and install it, That should work.

Uninstalling and re-installing shockwave won't undo a IP ban. It undoes a shockwave ID ban.

I tried that first lol! It aint an IP ban - I changed my IP by turning off router and putting it on agen (BT gimme a new 1 everytime I log on and off)

No, I mean you're right about him not needing to reformat. He could have just system restored to the day before, that undoes PC bans for me.

Err A PC Ban and an IP ban arn't the same thing!

Lol,it doesnt matter anymore.
It was an ip ban, I have no idea how it got there though as im the only one in the family who goes on Habbo.
Anyways I used Habbit and changed my ip and now im back on. =]

Apparently if you have a dial-up lead if you pull it out and put it back in again it changes your IP
