View Full Version : Back ache...
Hey, I've had backache for like a few weeks now, i think
I had my tetnus, diptheria and polio jab the other week, no side
effects that I know of.
It's my lower back, it's rather uncomfortable, when I straighten my back it makes it worse but when I slouch it feels good.
Any ideas for remedies etc.?
Thanks x
Maybe you pulled a muscle.
Whatever you do you may think that resting it is better for you... No don't, Keep moving as much as possible and stretching. If it continues to hurt the see your local doctors.
Warm baths can be good and using pads that take away pain on the back from your chemist.

Go see a doctor? :P:P
It could be anything from a simple muscle ache to a kidney infection?

It can happen when you're on the computer too much, or just sitting in general, with bad posture.

same has been happeneing to me and i dont want to keep cracking my back because thats bad for it so i just get a massage 8)
Whatever you do, don't try to easy the pain by staying in bed or lying/sitting down for too long.. it'll only make it worse. Take paracetamol twice a day.

Is it still continuing?
Thing is, i don't mean to be rude or disrespectful to the people who have posted before me but here is what you should try,
I'm a bad sufferer from back probs.
I know someone said don't rest but seriously do!
I have bad disk problems and I suugest you have an MRI scan and go see a chidopractor.
Don't have baths and try avoiding slouching, tilt your pelvis forward and squeeze your bum in.
Be careful backs are nasty things and avoid sneezing or coughing whilst slouching it could cause you to slip a disk.
Take my advice :)
Goodluck.
Edit; Virgin Mary is right, it's your posture.
I think someones already said, but warm baths are the best. And it will relieve it. Also, use that heat cream, it's quite good for pain.
