this thread is about arsenals rot
arsenal were 5 points clear and had to go to old trafford to play in the fa cup. united beat them 4-0 and i knew something was wrong with arsenal.
i predicted that arsenal were going to rot in the league and people were calling me a idiot & also people claiming arsenal had won the league already lool. here are a few replies.......

now lets look at the league table
arsenal 26 played / 63 points
man united 26 played / 58 points
chelsea 26 played / 55 points
now lets have a look at it today
man united 29 played / 67 points
arsenal 30 played / 67 points
chelsea 29 played / 64 points
what a differance 3 games makes :(:(
who do u think will win the league now?? arsenal are surely out of it :(:( and to be honest i can see them dropping to 4th if the rot continues

if we win against bolton 3 points ahead and a way higher goal differance which counts as another point.. so 4 points ahead
even cardiff city says that arsenal are out of it
they have chelsea next which will be another draw at most

:(Thought? I still think we will, wow weve drawn 4. But it does NOT mean we are out of it you idiot. Were on level points. Only difference is, we keep drawing but were not loosing. So we still get a point at least.
if we win against bolton 3 points ahead and a way higher goal differance which counts as another point.. so 4 points ahead

It doesnt count as another point, you beat bolton and we beat chelsea, your infront by g/d not another point. When you loose to someone and we go infront, it will be by 1/2/3 points not 4.
I do see United going on to win it now. They hardly played to the top of their ability these last three games though.
Sad. Cos they are winning and we are drawing you say i can see united winning. Your a great fan (if you support arsenal that is)
And thanks for using so many quotes of mine. Yes you do make united look bad. you annoy so many people saying we are rotting, when all we are doing is drawing games. You have lost more than us but we never said your rotting. You beat Derby 1-0, maybe this is the start of your rot? Arsenal beat Derby 5-0, Tottenham beat them 4-0, Chelsea, 6-1! And all you can do is beat them 1-0. Wow that is probably one of the best results theyve had all season.
Here we go, UNITED ARE ROTTING OMGDZ! Ima say everytime you draw or lose and IF arsenal beat you, im going to say HAHAHAHA 7 pointzzz infront n u sux0rz n nowz we have won it cos ur 2ndz it outa Arsenal and Liverp00l cos your out itz and lykz im so cool cos i suport Arsenalz!!!!!!!!! United cant beat Derby by more than 1 g0alz OMGDZ! Its lyk de shtart!?!
I can find a lot of quotes from you annoying people/arguing/making united look bad.

Arsenal play best under pressure , just because they're second now (Just like ManU have been for the most of the season) doesn't mean they can regain the top spot seeing as they have a few more games left. It may seem statistically impossible by looking at the teams we're facing but I can assure you Arsenal will be playing their best in the closing few matches.
Also I do not see how users on here will look like 'idiots' because they had faith in their team during a rough spot in their game.

Edit:
http://petermusgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/anderson1.jpgAs sports journalists throughout Britain tried to make sense of the amazing scoreline at Old Trafford today, United captain Ryan Giggs has given his honest opinion as to why a team, who hadn’t lost at home this season, capitulated so easily to their long term rivals Manchester City.
” We were just not used to playing in shirt’s without sponsorship. Ever since I started playing in 1991 we have always had a logo on our kit, be it ‘Sharp’ ‘Vodafone’ or nowadays ‘AIG’. It didn’t feel right just playing for Manchester United, my heart wasn’t in it. The players are commodities now. We know we are walking billboards and we feel comfortable with that. I have talked to the other lads and to be honest they all said the same thing. We felt naked out there today. You can’t throw yourself into tackles if you think your souls are hanging out of your shorts.”
We think that recent signing, Brazilian wonderkid, Anderson supported Giggs. Talking to our reporter he said,
” O meu amigo é correto. Eu quis os meus testicals estiveram na demonstração hoje. Os *******os, o fundo, os ******** ”
Unfortunately our paper does not have access to a Portugese translator. However one can only assume Anderson was not happy about the situation.
On similiar lines, 29 year old, mixed race defender Rio Ferdinand, said,
” I agree with Giggsy. We didn’t stand a chance out there today. The boss allowed us to change our underpants at half time. I wore a pair with ‘Barclaycard’ written down the side, whilst Scholesy had a pair sponsored by ‘Toys ‘R’ Us’. It felt slightly better and I think that reflected in our second half performance but it was too little too late. Do you know that not wearing the ‘AIG’ logo cost us all £30,000 each today. I worked that out at £333 per minute or £5.50 per second. It’s difficult to concentrate on a cross with those kind of figures racing around in your head. I only hope for the clubs sake that they don’t do the same thing in another 50 years time “.

It's really not fake, if you lived in the North West you would have seen the article in the Manchester Evening News and you'd even see it on their site, it's still on their.

I have to agree with United.Road on this one. Arsenal have drawn in their past 4 games thus leaving Man United space to catch up and now go level. Man United have Bolton next and without Anelka bolton aren't doing too well. So I'd say man united win again bolton, 70 points man united. Now arsenal have chelsea, with chelseas current form I can only see aresenal taking a point from chelsea so thats man united 70, arsenal 68. All other games would rely on the fitness of the team.

So you're agreeing that because Arsenal, who haven't lost in the league since Middlesborough away which was on 9th December, have drew their last 4 games - are rotting?

How did this thread get so big? As unintelligent as UR is, he made some very good points. Arsenal blew their chance at Birmingham to go 8 points clear. The title race isn't over, but it's going to be very tough.

I know it might sound like a long shot but Liverpool are still in it. If they beat Man Utd they are 8 points behind.

I think a four horse race would be interesting. If Liverpool win and Chelsea/Arsenal draw, there's always the possibility.

Bolton are gnna go down -cry
I'd wouldn't be suprised if chelsea go on to win it.
However United are on top form at the moment and it's hard to find a way past them. Aresenal keep blipping up with draws etc.
It's too hard to tell who is out and who is not. Maybe this weekend will tell whos knows.

This weekend wont decide it but definetly will make a big difference!!!
Chelsea are more on form than Arsenal but Liverpool are also on great form along with United.
Can't wait for Sunday!!!!:D

I think Sunday will decide if chelsea are in it or not. If they lose (Chelsea) no, i dont think they will be.
