I think you find they don't work hard. They ask for donations from people rofl. I saw a news post "Skaterchus birthday" They said skaterchu needed presents and whoever brought the best present won a special prize.. what a hc? rofl saddos.

Oh dear, this has been one active thread.

I must admit they look quite similar, indeed. Firstly the backgrounds are the same. The colours of the two layouts are similar yes but not the exact same. The placing of the sub boxes are the same as well. Notice how Navigation is first, followed by DJ of the week and a radio player. Each website has a photo looking banner at the top too. The main content box starts off by saying, "Welcome to sitename," on both websites, furthermore beside that is a similar box. The title of each page is Sitename >> slogan. The same font size was used, as well as style, on the navigation, which uses the same style of buttons. Each site contains a tick tack toe game (which are the same) and a love calculator under community. The background page under community has the exact same backgrounds. Probably more similar things are here too. Both websites use frame navigation.

On the source code side, they were sliced differently, however both sites start off with this code,

I'm not a fan off any of these websites, in-fact this was the first time I've been on CH's website in a while now, as for HabboCrazy I remember a website called that from 2003, I'm not sure if they're the same. Anyhow, I wouldn't be able to guess who copied who, or if this is just generic information and standards every fan site follows. If Habbo Crazy copied Club Habbo, they did do a better job on the layout, but that doesn't make it right.


On a side-note, Microsoft copied many ideas from other companies, (such as Apple) and with much of the copied material, made improvements. Does it make it right? I don't think so, and the courts will resolve the Microsoft issues in time, though with over 60 legal cases it will take a long time to unravel. I don't know who copied who with Habbo Crazy, but if they did copy Club Habbo it was wrong, but improvements were made to the layout if so.

Hmm...ever since I've joined Habbo and began trading an such I would just go to Habbox.com to get the rare values, then when I got bored of playing Habbo hotel I would go over on Habbox Forum, or listen to Habbox Radio. I have no negitive views on other fansites at all to be totally honest, I've just been using Habbox for 5 years and it's done the job for me. I remember older fansites, Habboom being a big one, but it's gone now, I think they tried to bring it back but I don't believe it worked. Another one people would use was impetuous run by the Hobba Impetuous. I remember HabboGlobe taking it over but then nothing more. Also YourHabbo.co.uk might be the old MyHabbo.co.uk, but I'm not sure. I think Habbox's age is certainly unique. Is there a fansite older than Habbox?

[html]<!-- Example -->I'm not a fan off any of these websites, in-fact this was the first time I've been on CH's website in a while now, as for HabboCrazy I remember a website called that from 2003, I'm not sure if they're the same. Anyhow, I wouldn't be able to guess who copied who, or if this is just generic information and standards every fan site follows. If Habbo Crazy copied Club Habbo, they did do a better job on the layout, but that doesn't make it right.


On a side-note, Microsoft copied many ideas from other companies, (such as Apple) and with much of the copied material, made improvements. Does it make it right? I don't think so, and the courts will resolve the Microsoft issues in time, though with over 60 legal cases it will take a long time to unravel. I don't know who copied who with Habbo Crazy, but if they did copy Club Habbo it was wrong, but improvements were made to the layout if so.

An edit; i looked at the imitation again- i find it nicer to look at to be completely honest. As similar as they may be, Clubhabbo should give them a taste;p

I actually thought they where a decent site, until they started copying everything off ClubHabbo.
Make me a list of things we have copied off ClubHabbo and I shall belive that. And editing ClubHabbos stuff to the same as ours wont work ;)


2 things, background and advertising space. Thats it. Anything else is just colors. Alot of fansites use light blue now as it's become a popular color amongst fansites. I am no way stating that Habbcrazy are right for taking the advertising space but look at www.habbo-works.com (http://www.habbo-works.com/) and www.habbucks.com (http://www.habbucks.com/), are you saying that Habboworks have ripped from Habbucks (or visa versa) ?


I have allready pointed this out, my layout had an advertisement space BEFORE clubhabbo released theres. So please tell me how that works out?

Im starting to wounder which fansite I hate more, ThinkHabbo or ClubHabbo. atm its ClubHabbo. Thats how bad clubhabbo have got.

Oh, and the reason the navigation is on the left is because its user friendly, and the reason the DJ says etc.. is on the left is because once we have habbcrazy news, latest news, and a shoutbox on the left, I don't think theres a room for DJ says on that side.

Well tbh, Any layout created now'a days is "Riped" from clubhabbo. You can't make a layout without somone saying o look he's stole from ClubHabbo. When infact you haven't. You've just created it on the base of Clubhabbo. Also when you think about it they don't acturley look that simaler.
