Filming for the fifth part of the series begins tomorrow (17th March). Hopefully, it will be better than the previous film as I didn't really like it that much.

A new director to the series. It will have a rediculous grasping-at-straws twist at the end. The franchise burned out after 2; only the kills are interesting. It all ends at SAW VI.

one trap can potentially kill the actor meant to be placed in it, and so paramedics will be standing by while filming :P

I have just read on wikipedia that there will be some explanation behind the clown doll and his tricycle.

I read the article on the trap, obviously an exaggeration though. After all, John Landis isn't the director...

Saw is overrated, it's ok but pretty dull and uninspiring.

It would be kinda crap, as to get out all you have to do is saw your foot off, and in a game you would just do it :p

Was explained in Saw IV, John made it for his son, who was killed.

Hostel 1 was alright, Train bit could've been gorier.

Hostel 2 was terrible.

When the first SAW was released, five sequels were immediately signed.

Saw was starting to lose its touch when 4 came around and I feel that it ended everything perfectly. It tied all of the people together etc, and i think they should have just left it. Now they are trying to milk it even more
It better be amazing

Saw 1 & 2 were ok, they both had good stories, I saw the 3rd one and didn't really enjoy it, the story wasn't as good as the first 2 it seemed more focused on just traps really, I think it was a bit too early in the franchise to start doing stuff with the old guy, especially the actually kill him, I never bothered with Saw 4 xD

SAW V is released in October 2008 in the US, and SAW VI will be released in October 2009.

Yes, but it would've left out about the main guys, child etc.
