It is time to announce the winners of the ‘Which Widgets’ competition!
The competition was, for those that didn’t know, to submit an idea for a widget which could be created and then used by YOU on your personal profile pages. There were some fantastic prizes up for grabs which included a FREE ClubTropica T-shirt and a year’s FREE subscription to McAfee security centre.

The winners have now been picked! They have also been contacted and will be receiving their prizes very shortly. The winning entries are as follows:


1. Jaffas (http://www.clubtropica.com/profile/id/2588) - Google video + Interview (Questions such as, what's your favourite food, your favourite brand).
2. Bethanie (http://www.clubtropica.com/profile/id/2311) – Applications for your profile, similar to facebook.
3. Sauce (http://www.clubtropica.com/profile/id/94) – A photo widget to display photos you have taken from in-game.
4. Yeti (http://www.clubtropica.com/profile/id/117) – A widget to show to what you’re selling on the client.
5. TMan (http://www.clubtropica.com/profile/id/631) – A doodle widget pad, to provide the ability to doodle and draw pictures on your profile.

I am sure you’ll agree these are some fantastic ideas! There were lots of submissions made and each one of them sounded brilliant but only five could be chosen! Don’t worry if you didn’t win, there will be plenty more chances to win these fantastic prizes!

This week you may have noticed that I have mentioned that I’m working on the community section of the site. One of the sections to be featured here is going to be ‘Fansite Fever’. This is just like it sounds, a fever of the intense heat from Fansites on the Island!

I’ve noticed there are some fantastic ClubTropica Fansites and I think it is time we showcased them right here on your favourite community site! However I need your help to do this. I would like you to submit your Fansites ready to be shown to the rest of the community.

It doesn’t need to be a Fansite of your own, simply it could be one you have come across which shows great potential!

To enter your Fansite please e-mail your submission to [email protected] with the following:

- ClubTropica Username
- Fansite Name
- Fansite URL
- Fansite Link Image (If Applicable)
- A brief description of what the Fansite offers.
- Finally, why it should be entered into the Fansite Fever Showcase?

I suggested a white board (doodle board) which is what TMan won for :rolleyes:

And a widget to add blogs, I bet they'll add it later and I wont get anything for it eh lol

Neil, they already have "blogs" it's actually called a Journal under Settings, it's not linked via profiles, but it might do in the future.
