Wii Sports Golf - Putting so anyoing

I can drive well at the start but putting im holding the controller like a normal golf club and swinging a correct its just that when i swing the power in the left hand side dosnt go up or itll go max power after a little swing anyone else having this problem and how can i resolve it or does it occur naturally.

well i just look at the way the wind is flowing and the club I'm using.
