Hello there,

You may be saying 'O no, not another project...and this time its porn!'. You have got some of it right, it is another one of my projects, however it is not porn.

During R.E class on Tuesday, the teachers, my classmates and myself were talking about Porn shops in Amsterdam, when I mentioned a porn website. I said 'it is mainly a*nal' and everyone laughed, and started saying 'Mainly A*nal'. I go home, and that night I have been thinking about the domain, thinking of ideas I could use it for, and heres the plan...

Mainlyanal.com would be a discussion and rant website, where users can openly post their rants and dicussion about everyday life. Users would sign up for an account, and earn points for the more posts and threads they make. The more a thread/post is answered to, they get more points for that as well. Further ideas would be to spend points on more functions, images, or even products.

Before I even buy the domain, or go any further with the project, I just wanted to know what you guys think about it. Help would be needed in terms of Coding Development and Marketing.

advertising may be a problem, however its a name you are not going to forget in a hurry. Also to stop school children viewing the threads in school etc, the domain blocks them out automaticly.

Any further ideas for this project which could be added onto the main structure?

Hello there, let me reply in points...

1 - My username really is not part of the project. If I make a good project, people will not care who owns it tbh.

2 - I have no projects 'failing', however I have projects which I have not bothered to continue with.

3 - My mother does not buy my domains, I do and always have and will.

4 - People would not be doing everything for me. They would be responsible for the coding developments, while I concentrate on the design, administration and general build.

1 - My reputation may not be the best, however if a project is good and useful, then people will use it. I will just be the name behind it, which half the visitors or more will not even know.

2 - Failing...nothing is failing.

3 - I am 15 for a start, and I get my money from my Pocket Money, my Bank Account, My Wallet and my Online Earnings.

4 - I can design, I can administrate and I can control a business. I have done it many times before.

I have not announced myself as CEO of anything, nor am I calling this a company. You do not need to pay taxes if you are under 16, and under a certain amount of money. I also do have prior knowledge of MMOCC's, infact 4/5 years prior knowledge - this is not an MMOCC.

May I also add that I don't 'force work' people, however if they sign up to a project I expect nothing less than 99% dedication, and I expect work to be done.

a project can fail no matter how far you go with it. To me it seems that the majority of your projects fail before they have even started.

You have too many projects you wish to start and you don't, so don't on this one. You can't run two different projects at once darren.. As I have said before your too YOUNG AND NAIVE. Also, the main thing about this "project" is that you don't have the skills to code this website and so therefore you won't have a big enough input on the site making it a failure. If you had any commendable coding (and design...) skills then I could perhaps see this website having a chance of succeeding.

Coders are there to employe, and that is what I do.Most people who own websites have a fair knowledge of a coding language of their choice. Because they have these skills they are able to have an input of the making of the website and can so produce the site exactly as they wanted it.

I'm sorry to tell you but the idea behind it is completely unoriginal with many sites like that. If you can think of something that will make yours different (apart from the porn related name) then I say continue.

And onto the porn related name, it might attract hormone filled teenagers for about 2 seconds before they realise it's not actually what they thought it was.
