I wonder if the Captain goes back down to First Officer, since it is RyanAir LOL. Looks like no one was hurt.

well you're going fast and you have a limited amount of runway, so if you dont slow down enough you go off it..

"flight FR1216 from Brussels Charleroi to Limoges in Western France, which landed on schedule at 16.00 (local), skidded after landing and the aircraft came to a stop approx. 10 metres off the end of the runway in a grass run-off area."

Nothing to do with the pilot mate. Shut up and get a grip before blaming anyone else.

It has been confirmed that the RYR craft, will fly again after minor undercarriage damage. :)

and who do you think lands the plane? yes, the pilot does do it himself, so he may have landed a bit late and overshot it by a few metres

Obviously Matt, although due to weather conditions, weight etc, the aircraft could easily of slid (as you do). Although the investigation is still underway, the aircrafts equivelant to ABS could of failed.

BTW, its the F-O that lands, not the captain. Perhaps in some cases the captain.

It's the PIC who lands, not always the F/O!
