Google's new HQ

Google recently built a new HQ in Switzerland. It looks nothing like an internet company office you would imagine.

Probably because whereas in a normal job you usually work only so you can afford to live but employees there must actually want to work there, and they all work on laptops I suppose so they can sit in whatever area they want :)

All their services are free of charge and surely they can't make much from the few adds you get on the right hand side of your screen when you do a search?Actually the most expensive adds cost up to $1000 per click. Now times that by the number of clicks and the numbers of ads and the number of searches....

OMG That office is well good, wouldnt expect it to be there though :P but then again i dont supose they really want to be spending tens of millions on a building :P Anyway i no longer want to be an architect i want to work for google xD

UTube started out as just a video site but when the guy brought google for $1.8bn or w.e it was he brought utube for $200m and his plan was to make videos to put on there which would be used to make money from advertisers. Obviously they havnt made there $200m back from what they paid :P
