.htaccess on windows

Im using wamp as a server to make/test my site. But when i try to add a .htaccess file (on windows explorer) it says;

Anyone know how to fix?

It's because the there's nothing before the . , you have to make .htacess files using notepad and save it in the .htacess format for it too work ;).
