Hey I've tried loads of things on SAM Broadcaster 2 & 3 to DJ on Vista but I just can't get past setting up a database and it then recognising it. I don't mind if it involves me using other software or version's but I really don't know how to DJ on Vista, and I wondered if you explain how you do and what database's you use to a DJ that uses Vista.

Please don't reply on what you 'think' the problem is or what you 'think' will work, only if you've actually succeeded on doing it yourself on Vista.

Help would be really appreciated as I'd love to get back into DJing again, you can have 2 HCs on Habbo UK if you solve it :)

I have vista and for ages I had to use winamp because nothing worked, Sam 2 is the only version that works for me, although I do hear myself back when I speak and have to mute my sound, it wasn't like that before I had vista and I can't fix it.

Also with databases it's only MySQL that works, Firebird won't.

Yah, I use Vista too. Luckily I went for SAM2 straight away so it was all good. As Jess said MYSQL is the one to go for!
Hope this helps!

Just tried it then, it failed a few times but finally I have success and I'm adding all my .mp3 files, thanks very much both of you.

2 HCs have been dropped in your donations Jess.
