Especially these alt competitions. I'm rubbish at alts, but I like to do art in real life and scan/digital camera it to my PC.

Is it a specification that all competitions must be Habbo related?

Note: I'm only eligable for staff competitions. =)

What a good question :)

Since Habbox is a fan site, we have a tendency to create competitions that are habbo related. Some of the competitions we have run, I wouldn't say are strictly 100% habbo related. From time to time we do try to challenge and encourage members by asking them to create an item of furni that doesn't exist on habbo. This hopefully helps members sharpen or improve their skills ;)

It also very much depends on how you define "habbo related". We currently have in the alt competition forum an Elite Playing Card competition, plus a Car one. There is no playing card on habbo, but I think it's a great idea! Just take a look at some of the outstanding entries already posted. As for the car one, when you sit on hotel view, don't you ever wish you might see a different car coming round that corner? I know I do.

Anyway I’m sure you’ve heard the following sayings “practice makes perfect” and “if at first you don’t succeed try try again” so keep at it you may well have a hidden talent yet to be discovered.

It’s great that staff have a small competition forum, as all staff is eligible to enter. Except me.

For the time being competitions will be habbo related as far as possible ;). We have no plans as yet to introduce photography.
