Well I have decided to have a free version, and a paid version.

First announcement, I have decided to code it for PHP5 only, I am tired of supporting legacy applications, and it is very simple for your host to upgrade if they have not.

Most hosts also have two copies of PHP installed, PHP4 + PHP5.

You can access PHP5 by having the extension .php5 or using a simple htaccess line specifying that you would like a .php files to map to the correct PHP application.

The free version is almost done, it will include the basic features of a DJ panel.

- Template System
- Radio statistics
- DJ Says
- Radio Requests
- User Management
- Usergroup & Permission system
- Setting and Troubleshoot system

The paid version will include more advanced features such as:

- CRON & AJAX timetable
- Contact and Job Application System
- Jingle/MP3 upload system.
- Advanced ShoutCAST server features.
- Desktop Application
- AJAX/JSON staff chat system
- Modification system to extend the panel even more.
- WYSIWYG editor.
- Staff Log
- DJ Profiles

And some more great features!

I need to know though, how much would you be willing to pay for the paid system?

I'm being nice and releasing two versions, I just need to make a little income on it ;)

If you could also suggest some features that could help your site, please no "specific" Habbo features, such as a Habbo spotlight, or anything like that ;)

Thanks!

Feature updates:

- Free:
-- Radio Information page.

- Paid:
-- Alert System
-- Radio rules & regulations
-- Banning system
-- User Warning System (3 strikes => limited viewing of the panel until an administrator reviews the "cautioning")
-- Login strike system (5 attempts to login, then locked out for 15 minutes, e-mails all users with the "receive security alert" permission)

Both the free and paid versions include MySQL based sessions, instead of regular cookies or sessions.

Looking brilliant, looking forward to your AJAX based actions that should be cool. MySQL Based sessions are great. Safer aswell.

Paying.. personally for anybody who is semi-profficient in PHP, most of the features wouldn't require *too* much coding, not to underestimate the paid features. Things such as the AJAX system is very good. That is something i'd consider paying.

Features:

I know you can do php imaging from your signature, so maybe an area where staff can create avatars with inputting there name and choosing a background and font.

A feature adder, like if you create a platform for users to create plugins for, that'd be a solid bet.

Whats happening with the desktop app, what will it include?

Phrase system?
Is the template system custom?

Other features are kind of basic, other than BBCode Parser

Edit: The advanced user logs, if I'm correct in believing that it logs actions in which case, it's well worth paying for, as I tried doing it, and it proved reasonably hard so I settled with pages viewed logged on/offs and time spent on pages.

It's all looking very good. I'd probably pay around £6-8. Also, as said above, what will the desktop app have, and what language is it being coded in?

Wow guys.... and who do you think the Habbo Fansites got it from? REAL radio stations perhaps?

Java is great and all but personally I find it kind of frustrating/annoying to have to install Java and then the actual program/application on top of Java. Anyway, what editor do you use to develop in Java?

That plugin was already going to be with the timetable module ;)

No, it will not be encoded.

Well, Tomm offered to code a Java one, if he is still interested.. that would be great! Otherwise, I was going to code it in C#, but my skills are not that great.
