Habbox won't become official.

Mainly because of what has happened recnetly with the hacking and allowing illegal content to be posted in threads.

It's a shame really.

The actual site wasn't affected badly just some rare values changed, ClubHabbo got porn on their site right lol? So a bit of a difference and the site was put on maintence straight away, everything was dealt with quickly so I don't think it should affect it's chances.

Not sure to be honest. Last time we were hacked were we had to go offline for a bit was a year ago. You have to remember that having teenagers run a site, from their home computers will always pose a risk no matter which fansite is it. Since Habbox is so big, the number of people to target is also big therefore the chances are increased.

We obviously learn from every mistake and make the necessary changes to avoid such problems :).

Since the site itself was not affected and no users were affected (I doubt anyone believed the values were authentic when the throne was valued at 1HC all of a sudden), then I don't think it should matter too much :).

I highly doubt that. If sulake had a problem with that, they would have contact us months ago. We will be making the necessary changes to comply with our datacenter rules though, shortly.

I think that, and that alone has killed this website from being official. It's a shame, it deserves to be official though.

Tbh it could have happened to any member of staff with a hotmail account. It just happened to be me and jake who he targeted and gained access to habbox by getting into jakes account so really it wasnt habbox that was hacked and they recovered real quick from it so I dont see why it would affect the chances of becoming official if its what the habbo population want.

I don't think it will effect it becoming offical or not, even though some rare values were changed, Habbox got onto it and fixed it as soon as they could. And, it wasn't anything serious.

To be honest in my opinion standards have really slipped and the current levels are the lowest they have ever been.

I don't wnat Habbox to be official, it doesn't need to be anyway and just causes problems. If I get told to vote Habbox official one more time I'm going to scream! Besides, the only popular thing judging by the Habbox Group on Habbo, is the radio.

The radio seems to be pushing on and improving all the time which is great :) I notice a number of departments just like to keep running at a level instead of aiming to improve alot :o there has been quite a few managerial changes recently though so before I name and shame I will give them some time to show what they can do.

I asked UkchaserAl the same thing and got the same reply. You wish them good luck? Care to expand on why YOU were spreading that Habbox had keyloggers on yesterday? :rolleyes: OR why on the clubhabbo radio they were urging the listeners to vote Habbox 1? :rolleyes:

Have there been changes? Not noticed :P As far as Habbo are aware, the Radio and Trade Values are the key features of Habbox. The site needs a new layout before the content can be improved, because a new layout means pages need tweaking.
