What ice skates shall i get?

Well i want to stay under £100, im in England ;)
Im quite good at skating but i cant choose between:

nike bauer flexlite 14's
or
Rbk 3k's

Hmm, any1 recommend either?

hmm id say the Nike bauer flexlite's. Just because i think they are so much better and comfier.

I wouldn't touch the reeboks, go for the bauer, they are definetely better all round.

i have some rbk's so i'd reccomend them, but mine were alot more so..
try them both on.

Iv ordered the flexis.
Im gonna wear em around the house for a day to wear em in abit b4 i skate. Hopefully theyl be some good skates.

Errrm, depends how much you have to spend. Not being funny, but noone here knows nothing about hockey skates whatsoever.

Nike Flexlites - Nice design, but NBH (Nike Bauer Hockey) have tendencies to fit for a smaller foot, as I wanted a pair of NBH vapor XXV's but the width was far too narrow with my feet. Breaking-in wise, NBH skates are very comfy and do not rub against the feet more. - Skate is very light.

Star feature - tuuk blade, easily the best blade hockey has to offer as the slightly higher pitch enables you to put more power into your skate AND the blade is used by 80% of NHL players.

RBK 3k's - wierd design, but neverless the nicer of the two; additionally is better suited for wider feet. (unlike NBH above :)) Breaking-in wise, you'll struggle more to adapt to reeboks. I have a pair of 5k white pumps (as seen below)

and it took me about two weeks of skating four/five days (per week) for them to break in, but they are extremely comfy after the brake-in process has occured.

Star feature - Skatelock; two fittings which enable you to keep your skate whilst tightening.


Btw - if your talking of a similar price range, I would reccomend a pair of CCM vector 3.0's or easton syNergy 300's/S3's.
