you know they won't. they won't even add custom bbcode 99.9% of the time.

Well if enough people request, and they say no, just bad management that would be...

and how many request threads are there that don't get done?
my youtube bbcode. thumbnail images. none of which could cause any security flaw so a hack like this will get turned down straight away.
if you have firefox you can install the imageshack toolbar or the imageshack dashboard widget for osx.

I find it that imageshack takes a very long time to load aswell as having alot of adds, if they did embed in an custom image uploader other than attachments (Which is probably the same thing) it would be the uploadpicz.com uploader ;).

I'm guessing because it may make the forum clutterd? Imo things like this should be taken up with the council first who then decide if it's worth having or not instead of saying no on the spot ;).

I don't see how a youtube bbcode makes the place cluttered. and a thumbnail image is supposed to make it uncluttered?

I would love that idea - and it would make image uploading so much easier!
But you know they won't do it. They are all safety freaks. ;)
If they were to do it they would use uploadpicz rather than imageshack.

Can you link me to this hack?
Whats the difference between something like this and the attachments?

Youtube hack adds security problems. I read about that somewhere on one of the vbulletin forums. Thumbnail images are already enabled on the forum for when you attach (using attachment manager) big images.

I think we should just use the attachments more but allow bigger sizes and more images.
