It doesn't seem to have been a DDoS. It must have been a random spike. DDoS would have killed the server, I was able to access the server within a few seconds (although longer than usual).

Yeah I was thinking that, DDoS if I remember correctly crashes/freezes your Apache which means you need a reboot. SSH will kick you out too.

Didn't notice Habbox going down so maybe it was just a lazy day for the server.

DDoS can shut down apache if successful it doesn't always

It would only shutdown a server if it goes on too long, but while its flooding it would slow the site down, if they stopped it in the middle then it wouldn't do anything except from the site goign back to normal
