Flash & Director Help?

Hey, I'm currently creating a multimedia application in college for IDA but i've come across a problem, I made a flash video player for videos within the application but it seems that director doesn't support flash player 7 or lower and the FLVPlayback element i used for my video isn't supported below flash player 8. Does anyone have a solution for making a Flash video player with Flash player 7 (MX)?. I've looked everywhere for a solution and no luck. I'd offer something in return but I'm skint and I don't have any rep power.

I'd advise looking into Microsoft Expression Coder, It's all to do with Microsoft Silverlight & XAML.

I hate silverlight haha. I hate anything microsoft touch. I don't know what they're thinking trying to take over Adobe Flash as the industry standard.
