View Full Version : So unfair

I just cannot believe this, today I went to my cousin's funeral. He got married last Summer and was just 28, he got cancer later on that Summer and died in a hospice 10 days ago, the funeral was today, very very bad and sad that was, and unfair but then it just continues. After the after-party of my cousin's funeral, his sister just 20 (21 next month) has a asthma attack and dies on the spot. 2 Cousin's gone in one day, so unfair, I just can't see the chance's of it happening and why. I also don't understand how their parents will move on and take this in, it's just so... indeed.

I can't get over it but the thing is, I already was an atheist/agnostic and I spend a day being preached to by a priest about Christian's, life and death cause of the funeral, and then God allows this to happen?

Just muddled up at the moment :(

Wow, sorry to hear it.
Didnt know you could die of an asthma attack, did noone have an inhaler?I was already on the way home when it happened, but I think it needs more than a inhaler she also only had asthma when she was little and had very little effects of it in recent years, things like stress can bring on a asthma attack and clearly as it was her brother's funeral that was the case. It's not absolutely confirmed it's an asthma attack though, post-mortem tomorrow.

Wow really shocking news, I'm sorry for you and your family.

It's strange how you pray and stuff when people have died despite not being a believer.

Stay strong for the family.

I spoke to you earlier about this, i totally get you. I totally get you about the God thing, im christian and after being brought up about the whole way it works, sometimes I think exactly the same.

I can't say I've had to experience anything like this yet, so I can't truly understand what you're going through, but jeez.. that's awful, I'm really sorry to hear that. Life can be so cruel sometimes. My thoughts go out to you and to everyone involved in the sad situation.
