festivals with a bunch of unknowns are the best because if there are enough, chances are, in the future you'll be able to say you've seen so and so live before they were famous.

which is why i wanna go to the pitchfork music fest this year, even though they usually get a few big names, at least in the indie community. they got sonic youth last year, this year they're getting public enemy performing all of it takes a nation of millions to hold us back. but the small acts are amazin'.

i mean bands that are like old bands.
i just looked at the line up, and its not as bad as i thought :P but come on, kiss headlining? they're like 20+ years old, same with van halen. its stupid having old bands play, music should progress, not stay in the past

I have to agree that the line up really isn't that good this year, but it is getting better with the likes of Seether.

I never go cos' i live in Spain. So expensive - not only do i need tickets but i need flights aswell! Lol


I trying to pursuade my mum to buy me it as a bday present! Lol

I think the lineup is great, ok the headliners may not be that bright but what does that matter? there are 2 or more other stages to go to if you dont want to watch the main stage headliners. plus you wont watch bands 24/7 anyway so whats the worry! just have a gooood time
