Do you actually love your parents?

You know the sayings such as "You love them really..." etc - question is, do you actually love your parents? Obviously, not like that, but in the family way. I think it's a bit of a grey area.

I personally don't think I do - I don't really like them, but then again, if they was in danger i'd do anything to help them - how about you?

I would say I prefer my mum, as my dad left, and we dont have t same relationship I do with my mum.

to the people who have said no look at it this way, you only get one mum and dad, without them you wouldn't be here, they have looked after you since birth, they support you.

(I use the term they, if you have only known one parent the statements still stand but wording would be different.)

thats not because im a selfish teenager who needs to open his eyes, it's because she ignores me so ive never really had a chance to sit down and talk to her, (i think shes talked to me about once in past 2 weeks), and talks to my sister who is a prostitute + addicted to herorine.
and she treats me like shizzle, and when i've saw her cry before i've laughed.

I love my mom, but my dad, he's not home a lot and he's kind of annoying so... not really. I feel bad though. I don't like when he's near me or anything and I'm shy when talking to him. It's weird.

Wow, it's amazing how many people don't know/like/care about/love there real dad. Thats sad in a way. :(

I love both my parents, can get on my nerves at times but all parents do. I'm the same with most people as it happens, don't know my real dad but I have a father who has been there since I was about 1 years old and to me, he's my dad. My mum and dad have split up now, a few year back.. and they still good friends and he still is my dad. So it's all good! :]
