what ever happened to Debbie Porter? She was very well know for a long time, but it seems her presence on the Web and Habbo Hotel has vanished without a trace.

Oh dear, it must have been a long time judging by how many of you have no idea who she was.

She ran a Habbo News website, it was huge, she had a load of people working for her as journalists etc. She had even had a program made to view her newsletter, available to download for free.

I've been on Habbo for years, and some of my friends have been around 2001 and I've never heard of her and never seen her name been brought up anywhere.

I've been on Habbo Hotel since the start of 2001 or maybe slightly earlier (as Shaun_Hill and Sheepdisease), but her name only appeared after 3/4 years (around 2005) so you should have heard of her.

She was just a news reporter, reporting the latest updates and news regarding Habbo Hotel on her website "Habbo News", which no longer exists. She used to have a well known presence on Habbo Hotel, people even made rooms to form "Anti-Debbie Porter" groups.

I'm not entirely sure what happened. I know she doesn't use Habbo any more, at least not under the alias "Newspaper" anyway. She used to get a lot of hassle on Habbo, which I guess went beyond the actual Habbo website, as a lot of online bullying does. I wouldn't want to stick around if I were her either.
