Maybe replace them with the current stars we've got and create new ranks? I unno they seem pretty nice. ;)

I agree, the current stars do need replacing. Maybe have the VIP-style userpips with a star inside it and "level x" in words next to it? They'd match nicely then.

I hated the star system since it came out. replacing it with different stars would be a waste of time imo but completely changing it would be better.

The top part of the star isn't very star like either. They would be all equal, not have one smaller than the others.

You can't really tell without looknig at posts an average of how many posts they have done.

ATM it is nice and easy to tell if they are new to the forum or not (Bronze, silver, gold, etc) it goes in order.

But what colour do you think is worth more red or orange?
