Hey,

I never ever thought I would post one of these threads, but I am seriously considering the switch from X360 to the PS3. Yes, this saddens me as I love my Xbox but being constantly dragged down by reliability issues is starting to get on my nerves.

I was sitting at a friends yesterday, and I was playing the PS3 and I did honestly think it was pretty good, I have had around 4 xbox 360's and the only thing about selling/trading/refund is that all my games, are pretty much worthless.

I will only get £30 for COD, £50 for GH3 (From a friend) and the rest will barely even reach £30 if I trade them in. I really don't want to start afresh and with the fact if I got a PS3 I would be wanting it in HD, I would have to go and buy another TV too.

It is a lot of hassle but is it worth it? Quite a few people I know have PS3's and some say they wish the had got an Xbox but as quite a few of my mates have went and got one and my brother, its making me want one even more.

So people, what do you think? Is it worth moving over to the PS3 or sticking with the Xbox?

Depends if you really love good online stick with the Xbox if not go to the PS3

My brother had a 360 before me. I wanted a new console but was torn between PS3 and 360. I chose the 360 and am very happy with my choice. But I have never actually played the PS3.

The PSN is good for jumping in and out of online games quickly, live is much better for a community, friends, chat etc. (My god, alex is praising an Xbox)

Depends whatever you want, the PS3 is better as a media centre as in your own music, movies as many codecs are now supported however the 360 is better for content off the live marketplace.

But then again who uses a console for Music and Films? If I wanted Music / Films / Pictures I can just put them on a Flash Drive and put them onto my Xbox 360.

im torn between them both too. I dont know which one to get. PS3 has the reliability but xbox is good for online play. but you have to pay for membership right?

well think about it, your used to your xbox games, controllers, and everything, if you sell allll your xbox games, remotes , all your accessories and everything you will only be able to get a ps3 and you will have to spend loads more on a good headset, games, controllers.

so stick with your xbox

I'd stick with the Xbox, not only because I prefer it but you'll get ripped off when swapping over.

Same. Couldn't beat the PS2. The xbox was bearly a scratch.
360 howevers flipped that IMO.

tbh the xbox should be fine aslong as you dont leave it on for like 6+ hours straight thats when the reliability levels of the xbox go down. ive had mine for adges and hasnt broken down 1nce
tbh i belive xbox 360 is also better value for money as the games are £10-20 cheaper and the console on the whole is cheaper

this might sound biased but im just sharing my opinion XD hope you choose whatever option makes you happy lol
