I wouldn't call it a fail because it has had its dedicated members. It just wasn't as popular as management would've hoped.

It was good whilst it lasted! It's had some amazing staff and competitions and I would like to congratulate Joshuar, OSH, ,Jess,, and Yoshimitsui for doing such a good job! :)

Shame indeed, the work that Joshuar and opensourcehost put into the site deserves great recognition. I always found it a very nice atmosphere on there when I went on and when I worked on there for a number of months. Josh has been there for ages and has always put 100% into maintaining the site and ensuring it ran smoothly. Shame to see it go but hopefully this new scheme will be a success and I have no doubt it will with Joshuar and opensourehost, r.i.p :).

I do have to say, the staff at Habbox world tried extremely hard to get it active, it just never took off like they expected.

There were some great members on there, and Jay, Joshuar, and the rest of the staff tried hard, and did their best :)

Habbox USA did do pretty good for a while, that is when Joshuar was known as Crashb or crash something, I was staff there.

The decision was made to try and enhance the international community on Habbox. As sad as it is to say goodbye to the forum we hope that the new department will ensure that we can concentrate on providing the best international events, competitions etc as possible and international members can benefit from the forums on HabboxForum more.

My thanks goes to everyone who put their efforts into HabboxWorld and hopefully this can be transfered into something more productive with the international devision in the future. :)

No. HabboxWorld is going to be integrated into this forum, I believe; although I don't know how that's going to work.

They are also renaming it back to Habbox Forum instead of Habbox UK Forum :)

This maybe me with common sense, but do you need to add anything to the forum? If HabboxWorld failed or didn't work well, then there is no need for anything extra on the forums, because they were not needed in the first place...

I don't see how that is pointless, the international forums are now merging with this forum, and it is no longer Habbox UK Forum, it is back to the original Habbox Forum.

If you don't like the forums, don't post in them? Or just don't open the forums. If the international forum is to merge here, I am sure they don't want to post in the UK forums.

With all the new members daily, either coming from Habbox World, or not, they are not going to know to use [USA] or [UK], which is going to get annoying for the moderators to add that, if that was to be the new "method."

I cannot help but feel that if events and competitions where started on HabboxWorld when it opened that it could of bloomed into a sucess with users actually from US and CA rather than UK.

I remember when it went for a few weeks getting between 50 and 100+ users logging on a day and Jay was practically living happy 24/7 haha <3

Just a few weeks after I got smod on it :p.
