View Full Version : So I'm mad..
We had this Biology quiz and I was all ready to do it and such as I studied yesterday for a couple hours and then reviewed some today. So then I go in, write it and he quickly marks the multiple choice questions (which were all but like 6 marks) and I got a god damn 38% on it. Here I was thinking I did pretty good.
But then my friend, who's a douche, barely studies and doesn't even do anything in that class but screw around, GOT 52%.
They are both crap marks but WHAT THE HELL?
so yeah. that sucks.

I never revise.
Doesn't help me one bit.
Our class got told to revise for a Science test.
I know like 80% of the class revised.
I never and got the highest mark in the class.
I don't fool around in class though.
I listen or try to listen in class.
I never do studying/revision at home.
I think you either know it or you don't.
You can't learn a decent amount the night before.

I didn't revise for my science GCSE's in Jan.
And got two C's (Foundation - C = Highest)
It was all good - I hate pre-releases though - Which is next exam.

I only ever revised in class so I was quite impressed with them.
Yeah normally I don't go balls out trying to study for tests and crap but I'm really trying to up my mark in this class and so the one time I do, I get the worst mark I've EVER had lol

I am the same way bro. I study a lot but sometimes I screw up but it helps me a lot. I hate it when something gets in the way of my studying, everything I ever studied starts to vanish from my mind.
If you are one of those people who listens and stills studies but knows it isn't a good idea, then don't study, just listen very well.
dont worry, im failing AS biology lol

Edited By nvrspk4 (Assistant General Manager): Please don't bump old threads.
I have mocks tomorrow, and I haven't revised.
Because, not to sound big headed, but I never do and I get great marks rofl.
Year 9 sats, came top 3 in year for all 3 tests :P
And whenever we have class tests I don't revise and do well. ;)

honestly, college is so much harder than secondary school if you don't revise.

Didn't pick a single book up for GCSE's and got 6 A's, 2 B's and a C. However, A levels you can't really do this and you have too look at a book to get anything worth while. I got two A's in my January modules with a small amount of revision.
No idea why the hell people are even posting in this thread anymore..
but whatever.. I've got like 15% higher then him in marks now so it's ok.

So about 97% of habbox members do not revise at all and get the highest grades possible, WOW.
I revise quite alot for exams and I don't see why I would need to hide the fact I revise :S But yeahh I revise and get better grades than most of my friends, it's logical rly and I will continue to revise cus imo it's always going to be helpful :)

That's not true for everyone. People learn in different ways. For about a year I just didn't listen in Chemistry, and revised the whole Syllabus the night before the GCSE, and found it really easy, while many of my friends found it hard, and they're far smarter than me.
What Jay. said above is true.
