Swinkids Guide to firemaking.

Some tips you should know:

- When lighting a log, your next step will be west.

- When lighting logs in bulk, use long streches IE: Varrock, grand exchange etc....

Prices and amounts.

Its a good idea to know how much you will be spending, about so here is a guide to tell you how much you would spend around...

Willow logs:

Amount of willow logs needed from 30 - 99: 144678

Cost: 2,604,204 (around 2M prices are not accurate.)

Level requierd to burn: 30

Maple logs:

Amount of maple logs needed from 45 - 99: 96095

Cost: 3,843,800 (around 3M prices are not accurate.)

Level requierd to burn: 45

Yew logs:

Amount of yew logs needed from 60 - 99: 63,015

Cost: 23,126,505 (around 23M prices are not accurate.)

Level requierd to burn: 60

How to get 99:

Levels 1 - 15:

As you have started firemaking, the only wood you can burn at the moment is normal logs.

i reccomend cutting down normal trees then burning them behind lumbridge castle (where all the goblins and spiders are.) This shouldn't take too long.

Levels 15 - 30:

Now you can burn oak logs, find a oak tree, cut it down (or buy it if you cant) the tree and burn it.

Keep doing this until you advance. This yet again shouldnt take that long.

Levels 30 - 50:

All users can burn maple logs, but thats far too expensive to do now. Cut (or buy) willow logs, keep doing this until the next stage of this guide.

(willows can be expensive depending on the grand exchange price.)

Levels 50 - 70:

Free Members: keep cutting and burning willows at draynor as maples can be expensive.

Members: Go north of seerers village and start cutting maples then burning them. i would not buy them as this can be expensive.

Levels 70 - 80:

Now start buying maples, this will gain you quicker experience. in a non-member world you cannot cut down maples, but you can buy them at the grand exchange.

Levels 80 - 99:

Congratulations, not many people reach this far, but there is quite abit to do though....

You now have three options to take.

Buy and burn willows, this is cheap, but can take awile to do.

Maples, This is quite fast and quite cheap, i would this if your are not rich.

Yews, not many are needed and this is fast exp, but this is very costly, and can be hard to make money if you have low skill levels.

From 99:

Go to the fire making instructor and get your cape for 99k! (members only)

I might make a video version also.

Video of firemaking? If anyone needs a video for firemaking they should be shot for terminal thickness!

If you made a video for something relatively difficult like runecrafting via the abyss, I'd be impressed!

Your forgetting duel arena, it has a few long stretches by the bank which lets the fires burn out before you run out of space, in other words constant firemaking.
