Read it about twenty minutes ago. The thing about Aladin was quite funny. Well done and plus rep! :)

No, films that have a controversial reputation because of their content, e.g. explicit sex/rape and disturbing violence.

Very interesting list, I agree about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, very good film. As for the rest of the list, haven't had the luck of seeing them yet, but they sound interesting. :)

Thanks for the postitive feedback thus far.

The second installment will be posted tomorrow, and the third and final, on Saturday.

For obvious reasons I cannot delve too deeply into some films because describing too much of their content would have me for the high jump. I'm writing about these 30 films as educational material to open people's minds into differnet generic areas of cinema, and to present films that have been put behind bars so to speak, and not given much attention, despite the majority of them being cult classics and generally good films.

So, that's part one out of the way, 10 more films tomorrow, and the last ten the day after. I hope that you enjoy reading the next two installments.

I hope that my writing influences people to seek out these films. They are all available on DVD as I own all that I have covered in this special series.

I would stress that no one watches Baise-Moi however, it is slightly pornographic...

Ah I get it, now.
Like Hostel was controversial for the gore etc?

As, I've said.
Can't wait for part 2, 3.

Yup, but Hostel is in a minor league of controversy in comparison to the films in this series. ;)
