It depends if the forum has heaps of job openings, but it will make it easier for people interested in working for Habbox to know if jobs are available.

They could always check the job openings page on Habbox.com :)

True, I never knew there was one but yes they could, but the whole Habbox site isn't that interesting to look at and people probably wouldn't bother searching the pages :P

Isn't that where most people check it?

It might be, but as you see mad is replying, so it depends, most probably he would have to do it, if it happened.

;) The new layout is being worked on and content is being continually updated. If you still feel this isn't interesting enough them please PM me with suggestions. Making the Habbox site interesting and popular is the entire goal for the content designers.

Nice idea as this would split job openings from announcements and make it clear what jobs are available but as said we do have a job openings page. I like this idea but it isn't really needed. Anyway nice suggestion. :)

Have one where they put information on people resigning/getting sacked as well as job offers.

I was just going to say something alone those lines. If you have a section for one type of announcement, people will ask for another, then another, until the announcement forum becomes maze-like. The job openings page on habbox.com is suffieicient enough imo :)

Yeah but atm there are 11/20 threads which are job-related on the first announcement page. That means important announcements like forum changes get lost quickly and not everyone gets a chance to read them.

On any given day there are only around 5/6 announcements posted, and if you click "Announcements" all unread ones should be in bold. If you miss them, you must have been looking the other way.

That's what i mean how to people that mainly use the forum know?! Sicne 90% of the time it is: Blah blah has resigned as HxC (Example.) I only go on to the main site for rare values!

Oh get over yourself, he spelt sufficient wrong? You spelt Since wrong, and if you are going to write I its with a capital not just i.
Don't accuse Alex of Misspelling hes the only one on my MSN who actually spells words properly!:D

Anyway, on topic, I think there should be a jobs bit with opening as well as resignations and stuff because it does sometimes push important things down the list:D

As far as I care, he can accuse me of it all I like, because it's true :P I was in a rush because I had to be out of the house in 5 minutes for work, d/w I know how to spell it really ;)

What I don't understand is what exactly you're classing as an "important" announcement. If there's anything THAT important, I'm sure management can use their new hack to force people to read it. Otherwise every announcement deserves the space imo, EVERY announcement has at least 30 views so obviously some people are interested :)

Nice suggestion and I feel it really could work.

Not only having job openings announced by also any crucial modifications made to staff could be posted in the child/sub forum.

But the whole of that post used !'s, does that mean the whole post was a joke ;)

On topic, I don't think it will be added, as the current system seems to work, users can always check back through the pages for announcements and keep themselves up to date.

I can't see the big deal here - it takes seconds to create another sub-forum and it highlights the job openings. I have had it on my site for ages and it works well. On a much bigger forum like Habbox I feel it would be beneficial as there are so many announcements that job openings can get lost within a day.
