Thanks for your patience during the maintenance. The good news is everything is now up and running again, plus there are some awesome new features set to rock your Habbo world. Read about them below.
Lights Out – the Room Dimmer is available right now from the TVs & Extras section of the Catalogue for just 12 Credits! It enables you to change the light and colour of your room and you can use it to adjust the whole room or just the background. Simply place the Room Dimmer on your wall and open by clicking it. It allows you to save up to three different presets for your room and is perfect for nightclubs, bars and parties!
You’re Invited To... - whether you’re holding a game, party or laid-back chat, the new Events Board is for you! It is now quick and easy to post details of your events and activities to the whole Habbo community and it's all done directly from your room.
* How Do I Use The Events Board?
First you need to decide which of your Guest Rooms you want to hold your event in. Then go to the room and open the Event List from the hotel tool bar (next to your Console and Navigator). The Events List is the new icon which has a white exclamation mark surrounded by red.
Simply click on the 'Host an event' button and choose the title, description and category of the event you would like to post. Once the event has been posted, your event will show up in the events category both within the hotel and on the Habbo homepage. A link to your room is automatically added to your event so other Habbos can immediately jump to your room. The event will run as long as you stay inside your room to host it. Upon leaving your room, the event will automatically disappear from the Events Board.
* How Do I Find An Event?
The Events Board can be accessed on both the Habbo homepage and within the hotel itself. To access the Event Board inside the hotel, simply click the Events List icon, at anytime, and browse through the various events. To access the Event Board on the Habbo homepage, simply click on the tab that has your Habbo name on it and then check below the Latest News section. All events are sorted by category to help you find what you’re looking for.
Group Headquarters - when you go into your group settings you can now select a room to become your group’s official room. Only the group owner can choose the group’s headquarters. Simply click the link shown in the group’s info widget and you’ll be whisked off to your destination. The group owner can save a room and change it or remove it later on.
I’ve Got the Power! – No one will bug you ever again because you can now moderate your own room! Kick and ban any pesky Habbo for a default of 15 minutes. Simply click on the player while they are in your room and select the Kick and Ban button.
