Princess Diana unlawfully killed

http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/44526000/jpg/_44526280_diana_pa_226.jpg The jury noted Princess Diana was not wearing a seatbelt

Princess Diana was unlawfully killed due to the "gross negligence" of driver Henri Paul and the paparazzi, an inquest jury has found.
The jury reached the same verdict for her companion Dodi Al Fayed.
The inquest into the 1997 Paris crash that killed them and Mr Paul lasted six months.
The jury also specified that Mr Paul's drink-driving and the fact that neither Mr Fayed nor Diana were wearing seatbelts contributed to their deaths.
They returned joint verdicts of unlawful killing through grossly negligent driving - or gross negligence manslaughter. Drink-driving The three were killed when Mr Paul crashed a hired Mercedes into a pillar in the Alma underpass in Paris in the early hours of 31 August, 1997.

I couldn't believe it. After so much "evidence" got thrown out and people lied in court I thought they'd abandon the case.

I don't see why you're all moaning, this is good news and it's hopefully the last of the news now forever. I think it was a waste of public money but I think it should end speculation for some. Al Fayed will never change his mind and we've got to accept that and everyone can now move on, even if it is going to cost the courts 7 million squid.

RIP and finally the awaited verdict ;)

Hasn't this been the verdict for the past 10 years? He was drink driving, they died. End of story and I really do not care anymore about Diana, dead and buried, leave her like that "/

all it is now is speculation as no one knows what truly happened, and there have been so many different accounts of what happened and conspiracies, that its just ridiculous.

If you think about it, it's probably spent more wisely here than other ways the stupid gov spend it.

The whole point is that the family can now get justice and then she can rest. If your mother died wouldn't you want know what was behind it? Now they do, so now unless they press charges, its over.

Put it this way - at least we can see our money being wasted rather than wondering "ooo I wonder what they've done with it" and they waste it.

Isn't it and wouldn't it always be considered a theory, rather than fact?

The tax money generated from the media profit due to our interest in the matter will have more than covered the costs..
