Well Mario Kart on the DS sucks but so does the DS so that could be why. I loved Mario Kart on N64, the way you could jump the wall on Wario's track.

If the one for the Wii is as good as the N64 then I'll consider buying it and a Wii.

it depends if it has a game update, if it does and it stops the freeloader from working then no.

Nah it doesn't ruin the freeloader. It installs a separate channel for Mario Kart, but I've been told it has no effect on the freeloader.

Mario Kart lol and Brawl whens its out. Dragonball Z budokai Tenkaichi 3 is good but it has extremely bad lag.. if your playing a mate whos in the same region as you it seems to be fine tho. Thats all the wifi ones i have ^^

I unlocked Mii as a playable character aswell.
I also unlocked Diddy Kong and a few others but I cant remember who they were.

Just had a quick go, I find the Wii Wheel quite annoting actually, the Wiimote and Nunchuk combination is best imo.

The Wii Wheel is great though I find turning a bit tricky.
The Gamecube is alright aswell, used it once.
Complete 150cc Mushroom Cup, 7 cups to go and then Mirror Mode.

Though boosting takes longer, you can semi-snake on wide tracks with the bikes.
Mii's are always medium Chris.

I've used the gamecube controller once and it worked fine for me though I use the Wii Wheel now.
I might pick up a Gamecube controller next week because my current ones shoulder buttons, Z and analog buttons are hard to push down and hardly work.

Something like when the 3-2 disapears hold down 2 bbut i just hold down 2 and let it go for a sec then hold down and i seem to get a boost.

Here's a few tips for you.

1) Streamlining - Always race behind people if your not first, that means you can get a boost and go faster
2) Boost start - Hold down 2 when the countdown 2 is about to disappear.
3) Mini-drift - Hold B and tilt the Wheel in whatever direction, only for corners or wide lanes.
4) Bikes > Karts
