Thrones' big rise?

Anyone else noticed the massive rise in Thrones, because at the moment I have seen and heard of people having to buy them at 54 CS - 56 CS (PURE).

Do any of you think it will ever stop rising unless released?, because a few months ago the 50 CS mark was supposed to be the end of the line for it's value and now it's around 55 CS. I personally think it'll just keep going and eventually it'll have a value like the USA Throne value which is around 245 CS

I'm not sure if it will quite hit the USA mark but only time will tell. It has increased so quickly and dramatically it doesn't feel like that long ago they were trading around the 25hc mark and now it's double that. Like you mentioned I never ever thought in a million years would they reach 55hc. When they reached 50hc I thought they'd never go over that but they have so who knows...

However both are common and the UK Throne has current advantages to it's rise;


The fallout from the failure of summer 2007 and success from summer 2006 has lead for both markets to collapse a few monthd ago, thus people invest in Thrones.
They are becoming much rarer nowadays than they were, about 1 year ago?I think it'll easily reach 60 CS+ by the end of this year, and who knows it could even jump 20 CS in this one year. :)

Thrones have been the best investment for all Habbos. When you consider they wern't given out till June 2002, and had a value of around 6 credits, to have a value of 50 HCs plus is incredible. When I traded for my first one at a cost of 2 throne sofas back in early 2003, I considered that a lot to me. I've not traded for thrones in the last two years but I do re-call when they suddenly took a tumble when rumours began that Callie was going to release the throne in the catalogue (October 05), and they fell from memory to around 14 -18 HCs? Not long after they began to rise steadily, so it's been the last two years where they have gone through the roof.

What surprises me is that it's not that long ago that Habbo unbanned many accounts, and that surely must of re-released thrones that had previously been sitting idle and now made available for trade, so obviously more thrones now available for trade.

I think the real question here is, can Habbos afford to pay 60 HCs for a throne? It's an awful lot of HCs for anyone wanting to own their first throne. Are they willing to pay that much?

Nope people only refuseto sell them lower because people are buying. If people stopped buying for a bit, throens would descrease and owns would suddenly go into sell for a deal mode.

Why do you want them to keep rising?

Based on my calculations with today's values, I've made over 880 HCs profit in the past 30 months on my thrones, without lifting a finger, assuming I wanted to trade them but I don't ;)

In the netherlands hotel, there are about 5 thrones worth about 2000 CS lol.
I have noticed rececntly though, the thrones went from 52, to 51, to 50, to 55. Lol. It's weird.

I want it to rise, the higher they go the harder it will be to hide the fact they belong in supers, not normals. The downside/upside is that as the Throne rises it will surpass a lot of other supers and people will have to trade more in CS for super rares.

Why move them if they arn't valid supers now how can they be tomorrow?

Im not surprised these are not going down in value to be perfectly honest.

They are always given out alot of the time in competitions, events, Funky friday and many other activities. The amount of thrones is increasing, and so is the Price? thats what confuses me.

i think the throne price is abit pathetic for anyone who had hopes of getting there first throne... If it's going to keep rising, it will be impossible for them to obtain one. Imo, it should either start decresing, or just get released. Probably the best answer yet. There are so many HCs that the value of 1HC is very low now, so anything good will continue to rise. The number of really crap rares that no-one wants contributes to this a well.
