Hiiiii,

What it is, our school have decided to make a DVD for parents to take home when they visit the school to check out the school for their sons who will be starting in Year 7.

Currently, the school are looking for a narrator for the DVD.

I want that narrator, to be me! x]

I am really interested in radio, and am planning to study a BTEC in National Media, which will prepare me for work in the radio industry. I am also involved with the school radio, as well as recently, I have got myself a placement for work experience at a local radio station.

Basically, I am a little stuck on the three questions in the application and how to answer them. They are: 1. Why do you think you are suitable? 2. Why should we choose you?

And, the question I find most difficult:

3. Which person in the media would you say you are most like and why?

I'm not looking for somebody to fill in the application for me, just to guide me on what type of things to put for 1, 2 and especially 3.

Thanks in advance!
+rep for all help, however small!

;].

For the first question you could state your interest in media and doing things such as this. For the second question you could say that you have excellent communication skills, speak clearly and you are enthusiastic about what has to be done.

The third question only you can really answer, who is someone who you admire in the media, say why you like them and what similarities you have towards them.

Well the most important things for a narrator is a good command of english, confidence and a clear speaking voice. Maybe do a demo of your voice?
As far as the TV personality goes I would describe somebody that you yourself would like to be.
