Her bf sounds a little controlling but then again, guys can often tell when a guy fancies a girl. So hes protecting what hes got really. Try talking to the guy? You know,dont say, I fancy your girl mate. You might get a black eye. Tell him that you only see her as a friend, and that your no threat to his relationship. If he believes you, he may not feel so anxious about your friendship. Maybe invite him places? Sorta befriend him? Bowling etc. If you invite a group.

Best way to a girls heart is to be friends first. Don't try "stealing" girls, it can kinda mess the girl up sometimes i spose.

Tell him that she meas no more than a friend. Take him bowling or something, Like some other guy said. Or just simply go somewhere like the park. Try and get him to be your friend. Then he wont care about you being around his bird. Start flirting with her, But dont take it to extreme level. Tbh, my mae use to tickle this bird he used to fancy. He ended up going out with her, So maybe try that. Flirt for about 3 minutes then let it rest for around 10. Make sure her BF dosnt see most of the time, Its ok if he sees some because he will think that its friendly. But he will know if you do it to much.

Or simply another way but harder way, Try and get him to be a jerk to you in front of her. That way she might see through him, And get with you, Personally I would prefer the 1st way, But If I had a choice of this then i would just wait and befriend him.

I had this problem 2 years ago,

I asked for her phone number, Became great freinds with her , took her to the park etc. After a while we began holding hands, kissing. Then it started, it was time; I walked over to her and said "I think your really pretty -not fit because then u'll seem like a ****- Well, i know you already have a boyfreind but, would you dump your current boyfreind and go out with me?" And guess what she said?
"Yes, your so cute"

I did all of this behind her bfs back

But be careful, if u dive in ull get a black eye

i did a different approach to the one above
today i was talking to her then mentioned i would invite her to a party at my house but we dont know eachother so i said wanna meet up some time with your bf aswell and she said ok and now shes coming to my bday party
