ORGINAL THREAD IN COMPLAINTS. (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?p=4638718)

Can I ask why there are so few mods moderating what is probably the busiest forum?

I reported the above thread, and yet it is still open. The member in my opinion should be banned, hes offering scripting advice, and also offering a a reward for anyone who can hack my Habbo account. Quite pathetic.

I never said there were few mods, I actually said a lack of mods. It was one of the busiest times of day, and not one mod for that forum was online. Now I am guessing that Habbo UK News & Rumours is probably at it's busiest just after 4:00pm each day, and hopefully me pointing out this problem may highlight more mods are needed. There is no point having 100 mods for that forum, if they aren't around when needed.

Thank you for dealing with the thread :)

Moderators are not paid, and its all free work, they dont have to come on the forum at 'x' point at anytime though its preferred if your active alot clearly.

And when you reported the post moderators from what i remember dont receive any emails anymore regarding the post reports thus leaving Super Moderators to do so, making more work for them.

I agree though that threads dont get took away quick enough but i guess thats down to not having post reports and not enough Super Moderators to deal with post reports anymore.

If anything another Super Moderator is needed or two..

The reason why i made this public is to see if you agree with Miss Alice (as we cant reply to her thread! >:[)

In all fairnes, it's made that you can't reply so that the general users don't get into a heated argument over something that can be easily resolved or is mainly for staff to deal with.

though it was me that stopped normal mods from seeing reports i 100% agree.

theres ALOT of people getting away with things now. i reported swearing the other day and i dont think its been solved. yet i said the same thing and got an infraction.

I dont want this to be a "heated argument" i just wondered if anyone else agreed with her that the moderators are not on enough or need more.

Just wondered. If it gets heated i'll close. >.<

Ever thought she did not post it here because she did'nt want people like you replying to it? It was dealt with and that was the end of the matter.
From my understanding the complaint was more based on somebody offering a reward to hack her account and the thread not being removed.
I do agree that mods are voluntary but if you dont have time to do it then why apply? theres 4 mods there and not one was about and the super mod/s online ignored it until the complaint was made so for that reason alone it was well worth complaining.

I would sooner have no mods than rude and offensive ones :eusa_whis

Oh i know how much you love me and i love you just as much darling. :eusa_whis

Yeah, i meant more on the moderators "not active" on her words or not acting quick enough. And another user in this thread has confirmed my statement. ;)

I didnt know at the time there was Smods online but "ignored" it till it got reported, i agree there its bad, and shouldnt happen but its all down to this "not getting post reports"
