I've tried to decide over and over what to use on my site

Cutenews:idk about trusting it and it has no style to it + averdisement
Wordpress:has a crap layout i cant just slap it into a iframe

any good ones

lol wordpress doesn't have a crap layout, that's why you use themes. Cutenews can have the advertisement removed very easily but it's insecure.

well its crap when its for a fansite and ur trying to use it in a iframe or include

Lukesnews (coming soon) Josh can vouch that I've made a news system but I need to edit hell out of it. You can:

Add news.
Delete news.
Set user levels.
Use themes (CSS & XHTML).
Edit news.
Intergrate it with pages.
And RSS feeds (SOON)

The RSS feeds will grab new posts from a site you want, e.g Habbo.co.uk it will grab articles from where you point it to so your news staff will always be able to find new stuff :)

Oh and I've built a text editor to go with it which includes bb codes and smilies. Also has an avatar system where the staff member can upload a quick avatar to go with the news (if wanted) Pretty simple really. Only requires one database with 1 table and a few files which can be quickly uploaded, only need to chmod one folder :)

I'll post a thread on here when it's done.
