Why American Idol though? He usually distances himself from America, but instead appears on one of their talent show's, why not one of ours? :S

Interesting. I actually like it. It shows that he's not got to have someone else do it for him and he'll actually take the time out to ask for money for a country in need. I do like it. :]
I was hoping he was singing however...

We have none currently running and it was their version of comic relief called "Idol gives back"

I'm glad he's getting 20 Million Mosquito Nets, I've seen the adverts saying about the children who would be saved if they had one. Atleast thats a mega boost.

He was a keen sportsmen too so sports relief would of been fine, probably a bit to keen as he played Rugby so hard he's still blind in one eye :P

That's quite good of him if it works out :S Bit strange that he decides to this, it's out of the ordinary with him.

Ezzie.

It's a good thing.
He's going on there to help get even more media attention for the good causes, eg: the mosquito nets for millions of children.
Him being there is a very good thing

I don't like the idea of any politcians using the net trying to be cool, just like when Tony Blair played football for the camera - it just looks wrong.

Well, everyone does it I suppose. Trying to be "in touch" with the younger generation, the next voters. Get 'em early I suppose. Although that particular video made me chuckle. "Oh hello! You just caught me washing dishes like a modern man! How embarassing!" :P

I don't really like Cameron, far too centre ground for me. Still, i'd rather him in power than Blair or Brown. He is trying to makes the Tories look cool by changing it's logo into a giant brocoli but all of his changes are starting to disillusion traditional tory voters.

I loved it when Tony Blair went to a school in london and they all boo'd him, but his advisors said it was a teenage grunt of approval.
