I beg to differ yes madonna you have your own opinion of her but some great bands have come from the 80's ok yes maybe not as many as the 70's but there are still some excellent bands

i agree, really. the 80's is the most overrated decade for music. but there was some good that came out of it; r.e.m., sonic youth (both of who are still coming out with good music), the pixies, the smiths. the irony is all these bands' true genius wasn't realized until the 90's, haha.

because it has to be 25 years from your first album to be accepted into the hall of fame. many has-beens have been accepted.

Washed up? Oh seriously, to call her washed up would be to say she doesn't even break the top 40 with albums/singles, but she is still getting #1s, so how you can call her washed up is beyond belief.
